However, in the last two years, Adobe has opened up the doors to professional video editing, advanced text and motion-graphics, and high-level special FX software to pretty much everyone. There are also basic (and even free) software programs available for simple, cookie-cutter editing projects, such as iMovie (for Mac) and Windows Movie Maker (for PC).
